In the ICC Women’s U19s World Cup Africa Division 2 Qualifiers played in Rwanda. Eva Kabwere was instrumental in the Malawi Women’s U19s team winning the qualifying event and doing so unbeaten. Malawi beat Eswatini, Sierra Leone, Lesotho, Botswana, Mozambique and tournament favorites Kenya. Eva Kabwere was named Bowler of The Tournament taking a total of 15 wickets in the tournament in 6 matches with best figures of 6 wickets for just 5 runs against Eswatini.
