Under Joes Zangazanga's leadership the Malawi Darts Association Senior Men won silver on their return to Region 5 Championship after 6 years of absence. The team also won silver and bronze medals in Doubles and Trebles categories. His administration embarked on popularizing the sport amongst the youth through Primary and Secondary Schools competitions. Through strategic partnerships with the private sector the darts association managed to stage two competitions; Roka & Co. Twin Target Open Doubles Darts Tournament and Diplomat Hospital Open Darts Tournaments.
