Joseph Kawerama exhibited remarkable leadership for the Malawi Karate Federation, achieving several significant milestones in 2024. Following the successfully the registration of the Malawi Karate Federation with the MNCS in June 2024, his notable achievements include:
• The Under-20 Karate team won 3 gold medals, 3 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals during an Open Championship in Lusaka - Zambia.
• The Under-20 team won 2 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 1 bronze medal in Harare – Zimbambwe.
• Facilitating training of seven judges to various national levels.
