Mpira Mmudzi Mwathu, a football academy, exists to develop and nurture talent through implementation of innovative and sustainable sports initiatives to support capacity building & access to resources. In 2024, It continued to create a grassroots development pipeline, building future players for the Malawi National team. Its notable achievements in 2024 include:
• Enrolled of 340 kids into the academy in its 4 centres which are established in all the 3 regions of the country.
• Contributed players to national teams: Under-15 girls and boys, Under-17 captain, Under-20 national team.
• Contributed two players to the Super League team, Silver Strikers.
• Contributed 5 players to FAM’s Luwinga Inclusive Academy for further football education.
